The 2243Hz is a 22" monitor introduced by Samsung in late August 2008. Featuring standard resolution, brightness and response time, the TN matrix based monitor employs a faster refresh rate of 120Hz and a new technology called MPAII to reduce ghosting while watching movies. Similar to the 2233Hz, a monitor released alongside the 2243Hz, the only major differences include a different aesthetic, 2 less USB ports and the lack of the ability to pivot the screen on the 2233Hz model. Price and availability has not yet been announced.
