The 4 series, also known as the 450 series, comprise the value-priced line of Samsung's 2008 LCD televisions. They're the only units that Samsung is releasing in 2008 that feature a 720p native resolution, as opposed to the 1080p resolution of the other lines. Specification-wise the 4 series share a lot in common with the more expensive 5 series, housing the same number of HDMI inputs, supporting 3D display and picture-in-picture capabilities.

Pros
Did not agree with any pros
Cons
- 720p native resolution
- The scalling process actually takes a 4x3 cut of the 16x9 signal the stretches it out to give an artificial 16x9 aspect ratio. People appear short and squat and you miss some available screen images. Spend the extra on a 1080 set
