Samsung CLX-8380ND multifunction printer is the flagship end all office tool manufactured in the CLX line. Intended for a large office, or a multiple of demanding users, this unit is equipped for long term use at a very high capacity. The open architecture design with touch screen customization allows for a card swipe system, or bio recognition, which then tracks user output, and links the CLX-8380ND to an office network for the easy transfer of documents and files without the use of a computer. High performance output is supported by a 2,720-sheet capacity, with 40ppm in letter copy and print. Scanning is accomplished through Colour CCDM, ensuring the highest quality offered by the Samsung CLX line. The fax uses a HDD Store memory that can handle up to 500 jobs, while the general memory is supported by standard 572 MB. (max upgrade of 1,088MB) All functions handled by other CLX models are found on the CLX-8380ND, such as Direct USB and duplex printing, but this model accomplishes such tasks at high volume and speed while it can also link to a network in the same fashion a PC does.
