The Samsung D807 is an entry-level quad-band slider handset with basic features and reminiscent of the earlier Samsung D500. It has a sliding frame and a built-in 1.3-megapixel digital camera with digital zoom and video capture. Like the D500, it also comes with an mp3 player, but its onboard memory is only 18MB. This can be expanded through use of a microSD card. The D807 is Bluetooth enabled and allows email and instant messaging through AOL, MSN, Yahoo or ICQ. It can also browse the Internet over WAP 2.0, and includes T9 predictive text. It has a talk-time battery life of up to 5 hours. The D807 was designed to appeal less to the business market that the D500 was, and more to the average user.
