$699.00 Released March, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Touchscreen with stylus. WiFi. Bluetooth.

The Cons:Way too expensive. No 3G connectivity.

The Samsung E101 is the company's first attempt at an e-book reader. The E101 is the larger of the two models and is the more expensive one as a result. It is ten inches and Google is the partner that delivers the content to the reader.

It has a soft QWERTY keyboard and a hidden slide out panel with hidden controls for users who would rather use them than the touchscreen. The Samsung E101 has Bluetooth and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, but no 3G. It includes on-screen handwriting capabilities, which means that the consumer can write directly on the screen, edit that handwriting, and possibly translate it into standard text.
