Samsung E6
$299.00
Released March, 2010
The Pros:WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Google content partnership. Capacitive touchscreen display with stylus.
The Cons:No 3G connectivity for downloading books on the go. No physical keyboard. Higher price than competing products.
The Samsung E6 is the company's first attempt at an e-book reader. The E6 is smaller than its sister product, the E101, and is cheaper as a result. It is six inches where the E101 is ten inches. Google is the partner that delivers the content to the reader.

It has a soft QWERTY keyboard and a hidden slide out panel with hidden controls for users who would rather use them than the touchscreen. The Samsung E6 has Bluetooth and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, but no 3G. It includes on-screen handwriting capabilities, which means that the consumer can write directly on the screen, edit that handwriting, and possibly translate it into standard text.
