The Samsung G810 is a high-end slider handset, similar to the earlier Samsung G800 but with upgraded features. The G810 still puts a lot of emphasis on being a camera as well as a phone like the G800, and it is marginally slimmer than the G800. Its camera is still 5.0-megapixels, and has 3x optical zoom and xenon flash. It also has autofocus, face recognition and image stabilization. The G810 is 3G-compatible as well, and its screen is larger than the G800. One main upgrade is that the G810 features a GPS receiver and Navigon GPS navigation software. It also has an upgraded operating system, Symbian OSv9.2. It has a secondary VGA camera for video calling and high-speed Internet access, and is meant to function and compete as a smartphone.
