The Samsung HMX-R10 is a high definition camcorder from Samsung's 2009 lineup. The camcorder features a 1/2.33" CMOS sensor with high light sensitivity to provide full 1080p HD video recording and 9-megapixel still images. It is designed ultra-compact and ergonomic with a 2.7" LCD touchscreen and an angled lens making it comfortable to hold the camcorder for long periods of time. The HMX-R10 offers 5x optical and 8x smart zoom for recording closeups and also includes a unique time lapse recording feature. It offers a wide range of interface compatibility including USB, Composite, Component, HDMI, and an SD/SDHC slot. The camcorder is available in black or silver and comes with a remote control and hand grip.
