Samsung HT-C650W
$350.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Setup for the system is pretty easy. The receiver is compact and does not take up much space. Don't have to worry about exposed wires.
The Cons:The wireless speakers tend to not work from time to time. Poor sound output. Does not sound like 1000w. Subwoofer does not provide this system enough bass.
The Samsung HT-C650W is a 5.1-channel DVD home theater system that plays CD and DVD discs, as well as MP3, WMA, DivX and JPEG content. Featured are five satellite speakers (including a central channel) a subwoofer, a central receiver, and a wireless receiver module.

The speakers are plugged into the module, thereby eliminating wires from the rear side of the system. And as the system is geared for an easy setup, it features color-coded wires, which is good though some critics have noted that “if you want better speaker wires, you’re going to have to get something Samsung compatible.” Additional features include Crystal Amp Pro for high quality audio further enhanced by multi-variable feedback; Intelligent power boost for more dynamic sound without disruptive distortion; and BD Wise technology, which automatically syncs all HDMI-connected Samsung components.
