The Samsung HT-TZ322 is a 5.1 channel DVD home theatre system offered by Samsung. The system comprises of a DVD player/receiver, two floorstanding front speakers, two rear bookshelf speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer. There is an HDMI output with full 1080p up-conversion allowing you to take full advantage of your HDTV. The DVD player handles virtually any disc type and can be used to rip music CDs to MP3 format using the USB host play function. The system can also read MP3, JPEG, WMA, WMV and DivX file types and there is an included dock for iPod and iPhone connectivity. An optional wireless kit also allows the rear speakers to be attached to a receiver module so there are no cables from the front to the rear of your setup. The speaker cones are constructed with sea kelp rather than traditional chemically treated paper pulp, which makes them not only environmentally friendly, but are lightweight and contain densely packed fibres for more audio detail. This system also features ASC (Auto Sound Calibration) which automatically configures the speakers and subwoofer for ideal sound using the included microphone.
