The Samsung HT-Z420 is a 1000 watt all-in-one 5.1 channel surround system offered by Samsung. The package includes a DVD player/AV receiver, a 170 watt subwoofer, two 166 watt front satellite speakers, a 166 watt center speaker, two wireless 166 watt surround speakers and a 5.8 GHz wireless reciever for the rear speakers. The DVD player/AV receiver can play audio CDs and DVDs as well as burnable discs including MP3, WMA, WMV and JPEG photo discs, and also has a built in FM tuner. The DVD player features 1080p upconversion through the HDMI output giving full HD signal from your DVD collection, including standard definition DVDs. It features USB host with CD ripping allowing you to save MP3s and JPEGs to a USB thumb drive, and copy CDs directly to a MP3 player or thumb drive. The inlcluded Auto Sound Calibration (ASC) system uses an external microphone to callibrate the sound output to match the acoustics of your room.
