The Samsung MR-00EA1 Media Live Digital Media Extender is a multimedia streamer/player designed to work specifically with 2008 Samsung HDTVs only (series 4, 26" and up; series 5 and higher). It utilizes an HDMI-CEC port to deliver high-quality 1080p content to your Samsung HDTV directly from your PC. Not only does the MR-00EA1 connect to PCs via a conventional RJ-45 Ethernet port, but it also boasts an integrated 802.11a/b/g/n wireless receiver for tagging onto your wireless network. Once fully setup, the MR-00EA1 can transmit music, pictures, and streaming videos, as well as record off-air and cable TV programs for later viewing on your home PC (optional tuner card required). The only drawback to this unit is that it not compatible with Windows XP (Vista Home Premium or Ultimate REQUIRED) or Macintosh.
