Introduced only a couple months after the release of the NC10, the NC20 is an upgraded netbook from Samsung. Featuring a 12" screen, 1.3 GHz VIA Nano processor, a 160GB HDD and 1GB of RAM, the NC20 will weigh just over 3 pounds. Already available in Korea, the NC20 is planned for launch in the US in late March or early April 2009.

- stylish and luxurious exterior
- something other than Atom
- remains cool during operation
- can play high definition content (720p, not 1080p)
Cons
- expensive for a netbook - the price of a full notebook
- heavier than most netbooks - 3.3 pounds
- Via Nano processor is unproven for performance as well as power consumption
- 12" screen makes the device rather large compared to the majority of 9-10" netbooks
- poor battery life versus Atom powered devices (just over 4 hours with the smaller capacity Korean 6 cell)

- Fire hazard. Switches itself on after a while (not healthy in a laptop bag)
