The Samsung NV4 is a feature packed, ultra-compact 8 megapixel digital camera. The internal, 3x optical zoom lens spans a range typical of its competitors. Image control is quite sophisticated considering the NV4 lacks full manual controls. Users can select from 14 scene modes, and can further adjust contrast, saturation, or add image effects. What sets the camera apart is what it offers users in addition to photography. The NV4 can play video and MP3s, act as a text viewer for e-books, and can serve as a rudimentarytour guide for 30 countries using Samsung's World Tour Guide feature.
