Introduced at CES 2009, the Samsung P2370L is a full HD 23" LED backlit LCD monitor for basic home use. Featuring a thin body with attractive glass stand, the 23" monitor utilizes a LED backlight that is better for the environment (mercury and lead free), as well as the longevity of the monitor, all while improving its brightness and contrast. Based on an inexpensive TN matrix, the P2370L is perfect for home use such as watching movies, TV, playing games and basic desktop applications - however, due to shifts in colour and brightness with somewhat limited viewing angles, the P2370L is not ideal for home theater or professional applications. This does help keep the price down, though - available in Q1 or Q2 2009, the P2370L will sell for $400.
