Samsung Plasma Series 5 (2008)

The Series 5 from Samsung is their entry-level line of plasma displays that feature a native 1080p resolution. The Plasma Series 5 can be easily confused with Samsung's line of LCD televisions that are also called "Series 5". From a specifications perspective the two lines are comparable, with the difference being the display technology used, both Series 5 sit in the mid-range of their respective lineups.

Anti-image burn-in settings - Located in the television's menu settings is the anti-burn features that gives you access to a variety of technologies that prevent and correct any image retention issues.

Models

Thus far there are no discernable differences between the 530 and 550 models, and may simply be a naming convention to allow retailers to bypass price matching. The 550 models are far more common
