Samsung Plasma Series 5 (2009)

The Samsung Plasma Series 5 (2009) is a line of widescreen plasma HDTVs with full 1080p high definition capability. This line features Samsung's "Touch of Color" (TOC), which blends a hint of charcoal grey coloring into the piano black frame resulting in a very stylish appearance. The e-panel technology features FilterBright, which minimizes glare and reflections for optimal viewing at any time.  The 600Hz Subfield Motion gives clear picture for fast moving images with a 0.001ms response time for minimal bluring, while the mega-dynamic contrast ratio gives deeper blacks and enhanced color.  The built in digital tuner (ATSC/Clear QAM) accepts any type of cable service, including high definition.  All 550 models feature wide color enhancer 2, which reduces green/blue washout and gives a wider range of colors than typical sets. The 560 models instead feature Samsung's crystal full HD engine with Cinema Smooth, which enhances all aspects of the picture for a more brilliant and lifelike image with high contrast and brightness, defined edges and sharp details.  All models in this line are ENERGY STAR compliant, meaning you will use less energy when watching TV resulting in money savings and helping the environment.
