The Series 7 Plasmas from Samsung is their flagship plasma display introduced in 2008. Naturally featuring a 1080p resolution the 7 Series expands upon Samsung's high end offerings with more digital media connectivity options, as the basic panel and core specifications remain essentially the same. While the Series 6 is limited to audio and image formats, the Series 7 can display digital video streamed through a connected USB mass storage device, or over your home network as the sets are DLNA certified. The 7 Series retains the Touch-of-Color bezel design that marks all of Samsung's premium televisions.

DLNA Certified - the 7 Series can stream audio, video and pictures over your home network alongside the RSS Infolink service.
Differences between 5 Series and 6,7 Series
