Samsung R540-11

$1,000.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Excellent overall value at the price point - compatibility/connectivity options are indicative of units at a much higher level. Multiple Intel technologies significantly increase processing power - virtualization and hyper-threading capabilities allow the computer to function as a quad-core model. Boot-up speeds are very fast - computer goes from powered-down to fully functional in less than 90 seconds with instant window switching.

The Cons:Outer casing attracts smudging and fingerprint marks very easily - must be wiped down regularly to maintain pleasant aesthetic. Trackpad is difficult to use in general - "sweetspot" control zone is very small, the whole component is seemingly prone to over-sensitivity.
