Samsung S8500 Wave
$500.00
Released April, 2010
The Pros:GPS. Well designed hardware - slim, quality build. 2 or 8GB of internal storage.
The Cons:Samsung have never provided a premium OS/UI/application experience, rarely support their products. A new operating system means very few applications, few developers, the risk that it will never catch on. If you have clicked DELETE option, it will really be deleted in an instant w/o asking yes or no.
The Samsung Wave S8500 is a flagship touchscreen Smart Phone from Samsung Mobile that offers a step-up from the company's SGH series. Operating on Samsung's own Bada mobile platform, the Wave is intended to compete alongside other leading touchscreen Smart Phones such as the Apple iPhone 3GS, Google Nexus One and Blackberry Storm.
