Released in 2007 the SC-HMX10 is Samsung's first ever high definition definition camcorder. Shooting at full 720p the SC-HMX10 outputs H.264/MPEG-4 (.mp4) to its 8GB internal memory or loaded SDHC/MMC+ card. The SC-HMX10 takes still photos at three different resolutions (2048 x 1536, 1440 x 1080, and 640 x 480), which can also be captured from video mode. Considered to be a better budget HD option, full 1080p camcorders are not far off in terms of price. Battery life is 90 minutes.
