Introduced with Samsung's second wave of 2008 digital cameras, the Samsung SL201 offers a 10.2 megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom in a slim body. The camera has a manual mode, allowing users to determine aperture and shutter speed settings. For simpler, point-and-shoot photo capture, theSL 201 comes with face detection, a self-portrait mode, 11 scene modes, an in-camera red-eye fix and digital image stabilization. With a maximum ISO of 1600, low-light situations can still offer usable images, although (as with virtually all digital cameras) some image noise may be an issue.
