The Samsung SL620 has a better zoom and more professional features than other Samsung SL cameras. For a small digital camera the 12.20 megapixels and the 5.00x zoom are pretty good, as is the large 3.0 inch LCD screen. The optical zoom has a 35 - 175 mm equivalent focal length range and a maximum aperture from f/3.5 to f/5.5 across the zoom range. The SL620 has dual image stabilization, a built in flash strobe and 30 frames-per-second video recording. It has autoexposure / autofocus features along with face detection to help it take the best picture and arrange the settings based on where people are in the frame.
