Introduced at CES 2009, the Samsung 2243QW, or Samsung SyncMaster 2243QW, is a mid-range 22" computer monitor that incorporates Samsung’s UbiSync technology. Featuring a resolution of 1680x1050px, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and a built in USB hub, the 2243QW can operate in both landscape and portrait mode. A special feature of the 2243QW is its DisplayLink USB connection - allowing any user could extend their desktop to up to 6 additional monitors without the need for a graphics card. Similar to any other monitor, the 2243QW also includes a regular VGA and DVI-D connection. This model is compatible with both Mac and Windows systems and is available for $399.99.
