Samsung SyncMaster E1920X

$150.00 Released May, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Picture looks good from all angles. Picture is sharp and clear, all details clearly visible. Good response time for gaming, no perceptible lag.

The Cons:Software CD included doesn't work with all systems. Limited to a 1360x768 resolution, can't handle 1080p video. Lacks color contrast, blacks tend to get muddy and subtle shades blend together.

The Samsung SyncMaster E1920X is an entry-level 19" LCD monitor. It is among the smallest and least expensive widescreen monitors offered by Samsung. The E1920X is very similar to the E1920NR, except for its widescreen aspect ratio and DVI input, which make it more suited to home entertainment use.

It features MagicEco technology, which makes it easy to save energy by reducing screen brightness, helping the monitor to comply with TCO Display 5.0 standards. The wall-mountable E1920X features standard specs for a unit in its class, including a 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor's MagicReturn feature aims to simplify working with a dual-display configuration. The monitor's adjustability is limited to a tilt function, but MagicAngle technology aims to optimize picture quality at different angles.
