Samsung SyncMaster P2770H

$450.00 Released March, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Large 27" panel. Affordable price for a display of this size. Fast 2 ms response time - usually reserved for much smaller monitors.

The Cons:Cheap glossy plastic bezel and stand. Not far off from the price of a professional 24" model on sale (Dell U2410). TN panel - poor colour depth and viewing angles, made worse by the fact that it is such a large display (and will thus take up a larger field of view).

The Samsung SyncMaster P2770H is a high-end 27 inch computer monitor. Several high quality features are combined to create a very high performance monitor for gaming, video, and general computer use. The monitor is capable of true high definition resolutions, with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a wide screen display to present film and games in the manner that they were intended.

dom: #samsung_syncmaster_p2770h It's an entry-level monitor that doesn't come individually color-calibrated. If you wanted that, you'd have to look at professional graphics monitors which cost a multiple of this one.
However, the manufacturer supplied color calibration profile works pretty well. While this profile isn't matching your individual monitor, it is at least a profile matching the model series as well as possible.
According to my experience, the ICC profile that you're asking about gets installed automatically by Windows, when the driver for the display installs. I have a Samsung 2693HM and I never had to download it separately, it just installed correctly for me. May 13, 10
