The Samsung T220HD is a 22” widescreen LCD television with a maximum resolution of 1680x1050, producing a true 1080P picture. At a 16:10 aspect ratio, the screen also features a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (1000:1 static contrast ratio), and 5 ms response time. The T220HD also accepts VGA, DVI, Component, DTV tuner, and HDMI inputs. There are two 3W speakers built into the unit, which support Dolby Digital audio. The screen comes with a tilting base, and sports 160° vertical and 170° horizontal viewing angles. Launched in May 2008, the T220HD currently retails for $400.

Pros
- great remote control (Samsung makes great ones)
- huge variety of inputs, for use as TV and PC monitor (2 HDMI + DVI)
- Samsung quality picture and on-screen controls
- better quality panel than the larger/slightly more expensive T240
Cons
- getting fairly expensive for a TN matrix
- lower resolution than some newer 22" models
- 1680 x 1050 resolution is not 1080p capable
- larger, higher resolution T240 costs only $50 more
