The Samsung T639 is an mid-range flip phone with frame styling similar to the earlier Samsung T329. The T639 is quad-band receptive on the 2G network, and is also 3G receptive on the 1700 UMTS frequency. It has a 256k-color internal display, and a secondary black and white information display on the outside. It includes an mp3 player with 30MB of on-board storage and a microSD card to expand up to 2GB. It also has a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with video capture and video calling capabilities. The T639 has four different colors of interchangeable faceplates, features Bluetooth wireless technology and NetFront Internet browsing, and gets up to 4 hours of talk time per battery charge. Other features include organizer, 1000-entry phone book and downloadable mp3 or polyphonic ringtones.
