Announced in mid 2008, the Samsung TL9 is a sleek multifunction 10 megapixel camera with an internal 5x optical zoom lens. Dual image stabilization, 13 scene modes, face detection and blink/smile detection make the camera user friendly for novice and casual photographers. What sets the TL9 apart from other similar cameras is what it does when it isn't taking photos. The TL9 is a multimedia player, handling MP3s and several formats of video (video must be converted and loaded onto the TL9 usingSamsung's software). It can even do rudimentary video editing.
