I can't see why you would have both a touch screen AND a physical keyboard. It seems like a waste and makes this unnecessarily larger.

I'm torn...until I try the virtual on-screen keyboard with this VibeTonz technology, I'm a sucker for thumb typing on mini-keyboards.

VibeTonz sounds like a recipe for ultimate disaster. Cell phones are pretty fragile enough as it is, now you're going to be vibrating them even more, substantially increasing the amount of wear and tear. They're going to die even faster now. Note: I'm bitter about the shoddy quality of my RAZR. And it makes sense to have both. Touch screens are cool for certain things, but it really remains to be seen how a virtual keyboard would work. Frankly, I don't think it'd work that well and I think that's one of the big faults of the iPhone. I do so much text messaging that I've actually gotten pretty good at thumb typing as well.

hiay ive been looking at the samsung f700 for some time now and i was just wondering if any one knows and reson why i shouldnt get it and if there is a better fone out there with the slide out key pad because thats what i like the most about this phone !!!

You should check out the LG Voyager as another slide-out keypad phone.

chears i had a look at the voyager and i love it but is it out in the uk yet because i can find it any were ive looked on ebay.co.uk to...... what do you think of the lg viewty =]
