- easy and fast 'one step' backups
- stylistically matched with Corsair Voyager flash drives
- more compact, cheaper and more durable than a dedicated external disk drive
Cons
- restrictive plastic around USB port may block thicker USB flash drives
- relies on the quality of proprietary software which may only be available for select operating systems
- USB 2.0 only, not Firewire or eSATA compatible

Pros
- no software installation required - makes it easy to back up files from any PC without administration rights, installation wait times or OS slowdowns from crappy software
- large range of capacities
- can automatically password encrypt files - super secure, without the bother of doing it all yourself
- slick appearance - nothing too flashy
