$200.00 Released February, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Video looks good even on larger high definition displays. Strong image stabilization at normal distances in normal lighting. MiniHDMI output compatible with most conventional HD displays.

The Cons:Does not work as a webcam. Still photos of subjects closer than 6 feet show distortion. Battery life limited to 1 hour.

The Xacti VPC-CG20 is a mid-range camcorder from Sanyo. It shoots 1080i video and 10-megapixel photos with a 5x optical zoom, lacking the dual-range video zoom technology of the VPC-CG102 and VPC-GH2. The camcorder contains new image stabilization technology which aims to enable low-noise, low-blur photos and steady video capture.
