Perhaps this first affordable HD camcorder to hit the market. Sanyo has delivered the VPC-HD1 for a reasonable US$800 in a very small package. It measures in at a diminutive 3.1" x 4.7" x 1.4". HD content is recorded to a secure digital (SD) memory card, with a 2GB card being able to hold 40mins of HD video.
