Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is a fantasy/science-fiction themed game for Windows, Mac and Linux that combines first-person shooter, real-time strategy, and action role-playing genre elements. It is the sequel to Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Players can choose between two strategic alignments: the Legion of Man or the Beast Horde. This game is free, however players can pay a one-time fee of $9.99 for additional inventory slots, access to player statistics and the ability to download replays of all matches.

- Great interface
- Customizable interface with addon mods
- Excellent, interesting, and unique storylines
Cons
- A lot of obnoxious people (most people have used this game as an entry point into the MMO scene)
- Different versions are tied to their regions, i.e. an American version of the game cannot play on European Servers and vice versa.
- Time and money sink
