"I've searched for some time looking for a networking receiver that would not only offer many features, but fit the bill as well. I deduced my findings down to 3 models including: Yamaha 3900, Denon 4308, and the Onkyo TX NR 906. I pulled the trigger on the Onkyo TX NR 906. I just received it this past week, and it gets more impressive every day. Some may have questioned the display as being blocky, but I find it to be very clear and sylish. Way better than the Yamaha 3900. Face it, it's not a LCD screen, and if it would be you could add $3000.00 onto the price tag. I have not set up the networking yet, but what I like about the unit so far is: having a lot of power at 145 watts/channel, easy to find labled connections on the back, being extremely well built and I mean one HEAVY unit, an AL drop down door face, THX II certification, HD radio, and the good overall function of the remote. The remote may have taken a knock by some user(s); however, this individual has absolutely no clue and/or they did not actually make the purchase. I was able to navigate around the remote after about 5 minutes. Very intuitive. Again, I have only owned this unit for 3 days now, but am already very happy with the Onkyo. I would make the purchase again, and like myself if your looking for a gorgeous, powerful, more than capable unit for a good price this may be it. Happy Hunting, -Scotto"
