The Seagate Momentus 5400.3 FDE is a laptop internal hard drive that comes 160 and 320 GB capacities. The target market here are executive laptops that contain confidential employee, customer or corporate information, Field sales, service and support laptops that contain critical customer data, and Personal laptops that contain sensitive information. This model has extra security features compared to its siblings in the same series.  It has two types of Seagate Secure™ government-grade security — enterprise mode and BIOS mode, with a hardware based full disk encryption, with little impact on performance.  If security is the strength of this model, speed is certainly its weakness. It comes with a 5400-RPM spindle speed, as opposed to the 7200-RPM speed, which makes it shut the system down 34 percent slower and opening big files can be 30 seconds slower than a 7200 RPM drive can manage.
