Seagate Momentus 5400.4

The Seagate Momentus 5400.4 is a versatile hard drive that comes in 250, 200, 160, and 120 GB storage capacities, and can be used for mainstream laptops, workstations, gaming systems, small form factor PCs, external boxes, and non-mission critical blade servers. It is a reliable laptop that uses second generaiton Seagate perpendicular magnetic recording technology (it must be noted that all the other Seagate laptops employ the same technology). It is not as fast as the Seagate hard drives in the 7200 series such as the Seagate Momentus 7200 FDE. It also has a smaller drive cache compared to the 7200 series: 8MB as opposed to 16MB. This all makes sense since it's cheaper than any 7200 series hard drive. With a Serial-ATA controller interface, this drive has one of the most advanced technologies for high-speed data transfer.  Critics say it has a great value for money.
