Tea shots: an alternative to double shots or energy drinks

Since Starbuck's double shots have been so popular, why not green tea shots? A Sencha shot is a highly concentrated green tea. Not only is it good as an energizer with 40mg of caffeine, but unlike espresso shots Sencha Shots contain a high level of anti-oxidants. So, not only is it an energy drink, but it doesn't contain false sweeteners or a ton of unknown, unnatural chemicals with hard to pronounce names.

A possible downside for some consumers might be that unlike a Starbuck's double shot, this product is not sweetened not does it contain any milk. Instead, like Ito-En's Tea's Tea, Sencha Shots have a full bodied (one might even say robust) green tea flavor.

I found this one day when I was browsing Whole Foods for something cold and caffeinated that would wake me up on a hot summer morning after consuming too much vodka the night before. I tried a sencha shot (with a Stonyfield Smoothie chaser) and it made me feel incredibly alert without the jitteriness that comes as a side effect of caffeine. That's why I recommend this product so highly.
