The Pros:Sound quality is above and beyond stock earbuds, holds up well to more expensive offerings. Decent passive noise isolation due to the earcup design with minimal sound leakage. Easily driven by less powerful sources, portable media players.
The Cons:Tend to grip too tightly, making extended listening very uncomfortable - especially for those with larger heads. The tight seal they create with your head can make your ears get very hot. Not very compact or portable at all--definitely meant for home use only.

The 1/8" plug of these headphones is adaptable to a 1/4" plug, thanks to a screw-on adapter. The 10ft. cable length allows you to move around as much as you like. This cable is single-sided, so that it is less likely to get in your way. Like many of Sennheiser's headphones, the HD 205-IIs have a two year warranty.
