The Sennheiser HD 25-1 II is a set of high-end, closed-back dynamic headphones made for professional sound monitoring in studios/sound testing labs and for dj's as well. These are very stable and will stay on even after some serious head-nodding thanks to the split-headband sturdy design. The rotatable ear cups allow the dj to perform one-ear listening which is critical for proper mixing. A seal is made between the headphone and the ear, keeping sound in and ambient noise out. This is important for mixing in noisy environments like clubs, parties, and also professional environments like studios. This is due to the closed-back, supra-aural design which means the speaker rests on top of the ear without totally covering it and the sound cannot escape out of the back. The cable is one-sided, only connecting to one side to power both speakers for easier use and a carrying pouch is included for storage and travel.
