Sennheiser HD 435

The Sennheiser HD 435 is a set of open, dynamic stereo headphones that have a unique silver design with a red outline.  These headphones are geared towards the budget-conscious audiophile who prefer the open-back dynamic sound. Open supra-aural design means the headphones let sound escape, giving a more open natural sound and the earcups rest on top of the ears. This is not ideal for a noisy environment however because unwanted sound also enters from outside the headset. The cable is detachable and single-sided, meaning it only attaches to one side of the headphones and it also has a separate volume control.  These headphones sound best in a quiet environment like at home due to the open design while foam ear pads are offered for a comfortable extended wear. Also included is a carrying pouch for storage and travel. These headphones share a lot in common with the HD 415s but their higher price means they contain a higher frequency response (up to 19500Hz) and lower distortion (0.3%). The next step up from these would be the HD 465s which offer higher Frequency Response and lower Total Harmonic Distortion as well as having a detachable cable.
