Sennheiser PC 330 G4ME

$170.00 Released October, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Noise cancelling works really well, blocks out surrounding noise completely. Minimal noise leakage, can have them up fairly high and people won't hear them. Mic carries your voice crystal clear over most VOIP programs.

The Cons:Cup size is a little small, crushes the ear after awhile.

The Sennheiser PC 330 G4ME is a mid-range gaming headset similar to the Sennheiser PC 163D. The two headsets sport a number of major dissimilarities, namely: the PC 330's lack of the 163D's 7.1 channel simulation, the PC 330's volume control location (on the right earphone rather than in-line like the 163D) and the PC 330's automatic microphone mute function.

Where to Buy

Otherwise, the two headsets sport the same features, including a boom-mounted noise cancelling microphone and a comfort-oriented design.

The PC 330's volume controls are located on the right earpiece rather than on the headset cord to ensure that they can be found more easily while gaming by eliminating the need to fumble around for the control unit. Its automatic microphone mute function ensures that all microphone communications cease as soon as the PC 330's boom is returned to the upright position. Additionally, the PC 330's noise cancelling microphone ensures clean, easy to hear online voice communication as it eliminates background sounds.
