Sennheiser PX 200-IIi

$139.95 Released February, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Blocks most noise out but allows you to hear traffic as you're walking around - good for safety. Microphone picks up the user but not the surrounding environment. Cord length is ideal for an iPhone, not overly long so it stays out of the way.

The Cons:Leather pads can be hot against your ears. No noise cancellation and doesn't completely block out the surrounding area - will always be a little mix with what you're listening to. Volume controls don't tend to work with older iPhones, only start working with the iPhone 4.

The Sennheiser PX 200-IIi is a mid-cost pair of on-ear headphones. The padded supra-aural design of these headphones, which makes for a comfortable fit and serves to block out ambient noise, is the feature that separates this model from the lower cost PX 100-IIi headphones.

Features shared by the two models include iPod/iPhone compatibility. An integrated remote allows you to control playback from your device, while the integrated microphone allows you to handle phone calls. Another shared feature is high-powered neodymium magnets, which cut back on excess noise. The fold and flip design of the Sennheiser PX 200-IIi headphones allows you to turn the ear cups ninety degrees and fold them toward the headband, for compact stowing.
