Not only can this machine make a single cup in just over a minute, but it's a great tasting cup with "crema" at the top as some afficionados have dubbed it. I use the Senseo Douwe Egberts Dark Roast. I've tasted several other makers pods, but always return to these.

It's better than any major brand's canned brew. Omar, Pods are like teabags only filled with coffee for single serving Pod coffeemakers.

krynsky - I hear ya - and I don't want to sound snobbish about it, but I am from Seattle where for better or worse, it is all about the coffee. So, while I loved the machine, I really did think the coffee tasted pretty much like instant coffee - Folger's Coffee Crystals. :)
