Found Captain Kirk's review unhelpful
New pro/con: for $300 more than the 650 series, you get a 240hz processor, 50,000 more contrast ratio, and cut the response time in half. worth it!!

not sure if I agree with your reasoning. The contrast ratios are so high already that even doubling the numbers doesn't result in a noticeable difference. Also, the 240Hz tech is brand new to Samsung while the 120Hz tech is much more mature with many of the bugs already sorted out.

Not saying the 750 isn't a big step up, but it's dangerous to make decisions off of just the spec sheet.
