After installing this massive TV, it worked for 6 months. One day the TV just stopped powering on. I called Sharp Customer service and they were going to send someone out to look at the TV. After a week of sharp not returning phone calls, i had to load the TV in the back of a friend's SUV and drive 45 Minutes just to get to a shop that would service it under warranty. 6 to 8 weeks later and i still do not have a television. I have to call several times a week just to stay informed about the status of the repair where i have been told for weeks that the parts are on order. AND the parts that were received were DEFECTIVE! For something that cost as much as this, one would think it would last more than 6 months.

My Opinion, if you're going to pay this much for a television, purchase something that performs. I have had zero problems with a Pioneer Elite purchased well before the sharp.
