The Sharp R-1214 is an elegant, over-the-counter microwave oven with a kitchen-design geared to save valuable counter space. It does not require a built-in kit or shelf, yet is still compatible with a variety of cabinet sizes. At its core is Sharp’s Smart & Easy sensor technology, engineered for cooking or reheating 11 of the most popular microwave treats (e.g hotdogs, pizza, etc). Included also is under-cabinet task lighting—in case a user does place it within a cabinet. Additional features of the Sharp R-1214 include an Auto-Touch control panel conveniently placed underneath the oven’s doors, a custom help available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French), and a popcorn sensor for automatic heating of popcorn kernels.
