""Mediocre video quality" is relative. I use Netflix player under Windows Vista. On one title, "Rivers and Tides", the quality was excellent, vibrant colors and details. "Just installed MythTV (actually Mythbuntu) last night on a spare laptop. It's quite incredible how easy it was to navigate around and do stuff. To insert a DVD and be prompted "Rip this? "You can get a similar item at the 99c Store here in CA. It's a little disc with flickering flame-yellow LED, inside a 6" paper globe. It's amazing, fun, and a fantastic deal for 99c."
