The Sherwood BDP-6003 is the higher-end model of Sherwoods other version; the BDP-5003. The BD-6003 offers an ethernet port for BD-Live (Profile 2.0) support. The BDP-6003 provides full 1080p/ 60 Hz and 24Hz HD video output and 192KHz/ 24-bit audio DACs. The device also includes a front panel USB 2.0 port, Toslink digital audio outputs, and 5.1 channel analog audio support. As a little bit of an extra feature the device also supports DivX, JPEG, and MP3 format playback. The BDP-6003 is set to retail around the MSRP of $499 and will be released sometime in the 2008-2009 winter season (November-February).
