The Pros:Covers a wide range of Dolby standards. Easy enough setup for entry-level users. DTS surround offers great sound separation, good 3D effect.

Output to the satellites is run at a 6 Ohm resistance, enabling the use of higher-end speakers for better audio fidelity. Separate tone controls are available for the bass and treble, and 3 DSP modes enable switching from Theater, Hall or Stadium sound balances. HDMI and Composite inputs and outputs are available, as well as both optical and coaxial digital audio inputs. Terminals are color-coded to make setup easier, and the binding posts are heavy duty to enable the use of heavier gauge wires.
